Ok, I may have fibbed...

So that really wasn't my last post here! Actually it was if you consider the *new* blogger a different site! Ok, I feel better! I have been using typepad for my blog since last year and it was too expensive and too much of a pain in the behind to post to if I wanted to make changes to the layout! So...I think I will be back here! I know that there are people that are having trouble with blogger and picasa and Hello working together but I think I can manage that!

If you haven't managed to get here from my sister's much more read blog...go read it! She is an amazing lady and she is sharing her journey to health and her struggles fighting cancer with us from her new blog! She is a way better writer than I am and it shows in her blog! What is funny is that my parents and other family members are now blogging and reading up on what is going on with Sandi. For a long time they didn't know or care what a blog was and couldn't care less about RSS. See mom and dad, I am not crazy, it is a good thing!

I have been doing way more knitting these days, which I am sure makes my husband happy since he can see all of this yarn sitting here. Honey, I am knitting it as fast as I can and I vow not to buy more until I have made a dent in what is there! I did in fact cast on for a new project yesterday and it is using all stash yarn! I didn't have to run out to buy anything! I am knitting the felted yoga mat bag from last minute knitted gifts and seeing as I have a bunch of Nashua Wooly stripes leftover from another project it is going to better use now! Right now there isn't much to show, but as I get a little further along I will post a picture!

I am also still working on the capelet for Sandi. I just needed a second project. I can't seem to work on one project at a time. When I get bored with one I need somewhere else to go! I love this project though, I have a pic on my other blog. It hasn't changed much, it has gotten longer but the idea is the same, I am almost to the shaping so it will get more interesting soon I promise! I guess Sandi, if there is any benefit to the weight loss you have had to endure that it is cheaper and faster to knit things for you now that the smallest size will fit! Thank you for taking my knitting budget into consideration!

Ok, I need to go post a farewell post at the other blog, Link is above if you feel strongly that you would like to see it, there are more pictures there until I get it all migrated back!
