Which of Santas Reindeer are you?

You Are Dancer

Carefree and fun, you always find reasons to do a happy dance.

Why You're Naughty: That dark stint you had as Santa's private dancer.

Why You're Nice: You're friendly. Very friendly.

Chicken Socks

These are Paige's Chicken socks. I loved the colors , they seemed to be very chicken like to me! I changed these to continue the k2 p2 ribbing to the toes on the tops because I don't care for the baggy look on the top of my feet! These worked out really well and are just cute little anklets! I was even more excited to get the stripes to match up!

Now I am officially addicted to sock knitting!

Very fun Christmas Stocking!

Christmas Stocking! I loved this but converted it to knit on dpn's because I hate to sew up my knitting if I can avoid it!

Use Extreme Caution!

See what can happen when you let a distracted woman go into the attic all by herself! Anyone who knows me knows that I had to take a picture before I headed to the Dr.! I have pictures of my rotary blade vs. thumb incident from a few months ago too! What else are you supposed to do when faced with a long wait in a slow ER when all you have to play with is a camera phone? Who could resist? not me! Be careful in your attics everyone! You never know when you could decide where to put a new entrance to your attic! Posted by Picasa

Isn't she adorable!

Meet Kumette! "coo-met" I didn't name her, she got her name thanks to Carrie, owner of Kuma who lives across the street! She is an absolute angel and I am so glad that she gets along with Shelby and Mudgie! She doesn't seem terribly interested in eating the hampsters either! Guess there always has to be a down side! She loves to cuddle and be petted, I just wish she knew that when I get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night it does not mean that she should get to be paid attention to for an hour! Oh well, Mudgie could take some lessons from Kumette about being cuddly! On the other hand Kumette could take a lesson from Mudgie about yarn being off limits, no exceptions! Especially the stuff that I am currently working on! The little bugger seems to think that I buy the stuff for her own personal pleasure and we all know that is less than true! Maybe by the time that I can actually knit again for more than a row or two at a time we will have gotten over that stage! ok, well it is time for me to wrap this up and get back to more important tasks! see you soon! Posted by Picasa

A little too close for comfort!

Ok, I can almost knit again now that my hand is almost healed! I can do about two rows before the pain gets too bad so I am just thinking of it as therapy! I am trying to work up to three rows then 4 then back to mom's socks! Can you believe I fell through the attic floor before I was done with sock 2! What was I thinking? And two days before her birthday no less!

Ok...What the heck is up Cardinals? That was a little too close for comfort last night! We have to keep those Astros out of the World Series and keep Busch Stadium around for a few more weeks! I sure wish Iwe had been able to make it to a game there this season but we will have to be happy with a game in the new stadium next season!

Ok, That is about it for my morning musings today! Perhaps I will have more to share later....we shall see!

A Brand New Blog!

Wow, I feel like I have just given birth to a new baby! Coming up with a name for a new blog is harder than one might think! I doubt that there are many out there that will run across this unless they are at PC Primer or I send them a link to it but you gotta start somewhere!

I have no idea what this will end up being about...It will probably change between Computers, Knitting and Girl Scouts seeing as those are the main things I find myself doing! I guess I will log off for now, I need to go get back to work cleaning my house before my mother shows up tonight and then I can get back to work on the pair of socks that needs to be done before she gets here! I am doing pretty good, I only have about 2/3 of the second sock to complete....just need a few uninterupted hours of knitting!

Happy thoughts to you....ChickiToo
